アプリケーション
Fieldgate SFG500は、PROFIBUSネットワークに独立したアクセスルートを構築するシステムコンポーネントです。Fieldgate SFG500は、様々なアプリケーションでお使いいただけるよう、複数の動作モードが用意されています。動作モードは、オプションのメモリカード（Fieldgate SFM500）で拡張できます。
メモリカードなしでは、Fieldgate SFG500 は、プラントアクセスポイントとして動作します。この場合、FDTベースのプラントアセットマネージメントホストアプリケーション（例：FieldCare）および、PROFIBUSマスタークラス2をサポートしたイーサネットゲートウェイとして動作します。メモリカードが挿入されている場合には、機器診断情報（エラーの原因と対処情報を含むNAMUR NE 107のステータスなど）や、PROFIBUS および HART機器のプロセス値が統合されているウェブブラウザに表示されます。
